GREENSBORO, NC
A VERY TRAGIC ACCIDENT AND 4 ORPHANS – 1 LOVELY BEAUTIFUL Dog & 3 CATS (no photos of cats)
WILL SOMEONE RESCUE THEM?
My name is Righteous and I lost my owner in a car accident on 11-30-09.
I’m up to date on all my shots and have been neutered. I am a 6 year old mix (shepherd/collie) and weigh in about 85 pounds.
I am completely house broken as I was extremely spoiled by my owner and stayed in the house most of the time. ,
I am just lonely now and need some love. I am very protective of who takes care of me.
There are also 3 older cats (that need homes) that were owned by this lady who died. I hope to get their
pictures and info soon. I get along well with cats as I lived with three and get along with other dogs as well.
However I have not spent any time with children. I do not jump on anyone and love to go on walks.
We truly need to find Righteous a home. We are running out of time. He is such a good boy and deserves the
love of a special family.

Good Morning Everyone,
I am in a situation where I need to find my dog, Mesa a home. I adopted him
5 months ago and we love him dearly. I will be moving and will not have the
room for him nor the time to take him for the walks that a 70 lb dog
requires. He is very loving and very tender. He can be skittish at times
but very loyal to his owners. He is two years old and loves to play. He
has been neutered and is up to date on all of his shots until April 2010.
He has a microchip that allows you to locate him in case he is lost. A
loving family with a large fenced-in yard is a definite plus!
Please feel free to forward this email onto anyone you know who may be
interested in adopting Mesa! Pictures are attached!
Thank you so very much. Have a very Merry Christmas!

IF YOU CAN HELP THIS SWEET LADY, PLEASE CONTACT THE SHELTER BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE! THERE IS A $100 DONATION FOR ANY RESCUE THAT TAKES HER IN!!
My time is up! Hurry in to save me before it’s too late! I’ll reward you with years of love and loyalty! Adopt me so I can have a home for the holidays! The pound is FULL!
Santa’s Little Helper
- Age: 1 Year
- Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
- Gender: Female
- Impound Date: 12/14/09
- Ledger #: 29577
- weight: 33lb
Why choose me?
This dog got its name not only for the Christmas theme for the holidays, but because her funny antics, coloring, and thin body reminded me of Homer and Marge’s dog, Santa’s Little Helper, on The Simpson’s! Santa’s Little Helper was very sweet but seemed a little nervous about her surroundings. Her thin frame and long face made me wonder if she was mixed with whippet or greyhound. True to her name, she really enjoyed sporting her Santa costume and liked the attention it got from others passing by!
Update 12/17/09: Santa’s Little Helper is a sweetheart! She really doesn’t like being at the pound and just cant wait to go home with a new family. She’s much smaller than she looks from her pictures and only weighs 33lbs, which would be a great size for any home. This little helper might not be able to help Santa out too much because she is in a need of a nail trim! She really wants to make her visitors happy by showing off she sweet smile. She’s a little bit on the hyper side but not too bad…all she really needs is someone to take her on a nice long walk to help her get that pent-up energy out. She seems to be a quick learner and would make an outstanding candidate for an obedience class because she is so eager to do a ’sit’ as fast as she can to get a treat. I’m sure she will be easy to train and a real joy to have as a friend! Come meet this little gal soon before her time runs out.
Update 12/20/09: Santa’s Little Helper is out of time and has ZERO applications and no rescues backing her up! The pound is packed and today might be her last day…
