This is sweet Jolie. She is fully vetted and chipped. Jolie weighs 24 pounds, housebroken, sits, comes, stays, shakes and backups. She is crate trained and loves to ride in a car. She walks great on a leash. Is wonderful with cats.
Jolie never meets a stranger. She LOVES people, dogs and children. She isn’t a digger. Jolie sleeps all night and only wants to cuddle.
I would love for her to go to a home with another dog and children. Somebody that isn’t gone all the time.
She is one of the best dogs that I have ever fostered.

This beagle is scheduled to be put down today. He is at Cherokee Animal Shelter. He is 7 years old and gets along well with other dogs. I have a friend that is certified in rescue and can go grab him if we can find a taker. Know anyone?!!! Let me know ASAP. She has to know this morning!

shame he has only until tomorrow afternoon (Tues March 30th). He is a MOVIE
STAR! His owners turned him in for chasing cars (so he shouldn’t be loose

The mass grave contained endangered species including Siberian tigers, Asian elephants and white leopards. It is believed that the animals died of malnutrition after the zoo suffered budget cuts that caused it to switch the carnivores to chicken and bean cakes instead of red meat. The Times of London here.
Its really shocking, and it comes on the heels of reports that zoos in China are raising tigers to use their bones in popular virility tonics.
