PLEASE CROSSPOST URGENTLY FOR THIS SWEET DOG! IF YOU CAN HELP, CONTACT CRYSTAL AT crystallovesdogrescue@gmail.com
The shelter really wants this guy saved. They need him out today but will hold until Saturday if a rescue will commit to him today!!!!
Bruno-A139336 intact male pit bull needs a rescue. Seems to get along with everyone and he is friendly. Approx. 5 years old. Cropped ears. No scars to indicate fighting. Was in the same run as the GS pointer and did fine with him.
The rescue must have a 501c3 status to pull.
Let me know if you need help with pulling or transport. Please do not call the shelter, they are short staffed and not able to answer the phone all day.
CONTACT ME IF YOU CAN HELP!!!! However, I am not an employee of the shelter.

PLEASE CROSS-POST!
Can someone please take in this poor, sweet girl before she meets a
sad and lonely death. I will be willing to transport and offer
sponsor $, if someone can help.
This dog has been hanging around for more than a year; across the road by field and wood’s edge from Linda’s Chevron; Hwy 129 N about half way between Cleveland Ga. and Turners Corner.
Many people have noticed and each time seeing her laying out there to warm in the sun; would turn around; head into Linda’s for an egg biscuit; or intentionally save some of Sunday church potluck and drop it off for the girl. To our dismay, she would never let you get close.
Seasons change and a couple of us took a large rubber garbage pail with straw inside and boards anchored underneath to stabilize and placed it in the woods. Thing is; I doubt she ever used it; cause it had only one way in and one way out.
A week; even 2 would pass and I wouldn’t see her and neither did the neighbor close by who fed her many times. We thought maybe she had found a trusted human friend and only occasionally showed up for the rest of us so we could remember compassion and grace.
I saw her last week and realized; she hadn’t found that loving friend; I could see several of her ribs from my car as I passed by. I called the neighbor and she got some food out there for her pronto. Later that day; on my way back home; I saw she had moved closer to the neighbors house and in a soft rain; resting in the ditch. . Not hurt; but with a gimpy hip; she simply had no extra energy to cross back over to wherever she’s been hiding.
It was an Obvious call for help and I pulled in their driveway and thankfully both folks were home. With close to an hour of slow coaxing and some heavier lifting by Bobby; we got her to a pen and some good food; an aspirin and some fish oil.
What we need right now is some help; a foster situation until we can get this story out there because This Dog has lived on her own through cold and wind and wet and heat and fleas and right now—there is someone waiting for her because she has a broken spirit. She needs the daily containment in safety; some good food and comfort and loving words. If she was let out; her instinct would be to run away still and she is no longer able to defend herself in the wild.
Here is the bottom line, due to certain circumstances the lady that currently has the dog is unable to keep her much longer. If we don’t find someone that will foster her or care for her the only choice is to call Animal Control which will mean certain euthanizing; because they don’t have enough room. PLEASE HELP. This truly is a situation that we need ACTION ASAP.
If you can help; have suggestions; a place and time; we all have 4 dogs or more ourselves and need some help. Contact me by e-mail or a message on my phone–I will check daily. Thanks so much. Time is of the essence! Send to ALL of your heart friends; my e-mail capacity isn’t at par.
If the picture doesn’t come through on this e-mail; let me know; I will try again and get that right before you send out.
Thanks Friends

Chuck is asking for help finding these mommas and babies homes as he said he really does not want to have to put them down. I know we are pretty well maxed out unless we have one heck of a weekend, but if anyone can or if know of anyone who might just take care of a litter of kittens let me know. The 3 little ones that say 2 weeks old that are together look more like 4 or 5 weeks and they don’t show them with a mom so not sure what their story is.

- Age: 5 years
- Breed:Stafforshire Terrier X
- Gender: Female

Leila is such a gentle soul! This poor little girl has so many wounds all over her. She has been at the shelter since the 22 of April but only made available since she has been so uncomfortable. When Leila came in her whole face and neck were swollen. Leila was very scared and nervous when she came in but she has really opened up! Leila loves to be snuggled. She loves other dogs. Leila might have been used as a bait dog at some point in time. She has been bred quite a few times as well. Leila has not been shown much kindness in her life but now she has a chance to start again fresh. Because of her injuries and her possible past, Leila is available for rescue only.

PLEASE CROSSPOST AGAIN TO FIND FUNDS AND RESCUE FOR SWEET PEARL!!
UPDATE:
Pearl’s surgery and medical expenses were over $700. So far, we have collected $165. Please help us cover Pearl’s bills, so that the wonderful volunteer (retired/living on fixed, meager income) that went out on a limb for this sweet baby, won’t have to sell her truck to pay for it! Any amount will help so very much. FYI: Pearl came through beautifully, and is now all better, and fully vetted to boot.
Also: Pearl needs to be placed by Thursday, or she will have to return to animal control. Pearl is such a love that the vet and all the office employees, can’t tell you enough how sweet she is!
Pearl is very very special, and deserves a home full of love and happiness!
Donations can be called in or mailed directly to:

Pearl was examined by a vet late Monday afternoon. He determined that she is one year old, and has already had kittens. She has mastitis and her breasts are swollen to the point where they weigh one pound – one 7th of her total weight! She has cysts on her ovaries, and a severe case of ear mites.
She will need to be treated for the mastitis first, and then will have to have an ovarian hysterectomy for the cysts — both of which are causing her severe pain. Pearl will need to be hospitalized for a while, both before and after surgery. We need to raise the funds to help pay for her treatment, and then will need assistance finding rescue or a home, so she won’t have to return to animal control. Please help this pretty Pearl — she’s well worth it!

PLEASE CROSSPOST TO HELP FIND A HOME FOR THIS SWEETIE!! IF YOU CAN HELP, CONTACT:
Kathy at halfwayhome@comcast.net
Miracles happen through the power of networking. You were sent this email because you are known to be a friend to animals. If you are not interested in adopting this dog yourself, please forward this email to everyone you know. Someone somewhere wants to adopt Pongo, and with your help, we can find them. Pongo is currently in a small suburb of Houston, Texas, but travel arrangements can be made for him just about anywhere.
So this is what happened. My owner got me as a puppy and kept me chained up my whole life. Even that turned out to be too much effort for the lazy bum and one day he just dumped me in the middle of nowhere without a backward glance. The freedom to finally move and romp as a dog should was a blessing so I decided to make the best of a bad situation. I was walking along enjoying the mild weather and hoping to find a new family to take me in. I spotted a nice guy, and being a friendly and trusting dog and all, I trotted right up to him when he called me. But I hadn’t been found by my new human family after all, I had been busted by animal control! He took me to a place where I got regular food, some shots to keep me healthy, and some doggy friends to play with. I decided I could live here if I had to, but then one of my new canine friends let me in on an awful secret. I was in a kill shelter that could not adopt to the public! I tried to fight the panic and believe that a rescue group would come for me. But as week one turned into week two, then three, then four, my spirits dropped and I began to despair that my brief life was going to be over before it really began. After five long, long weeks, rescue finally came and now I’m safe and sound in a cozy foster home.
I like it here, but I can’t stay. This family takes in homeless dogs like me, helping them find forever families. As long as I’m here, I take up a spot another foster dog could have, so I hope to move on as soon as possible. Another pup needs the same lucky break and opportunity for a second life.
Let me tell you a little about me so you can see for yourself that I’m the perfect dog for you! I’m a young-un, less than two years old (in human years that is), and I weigh about 45 pounds. I’ve done all my growin’ and I won’t get any bigger. I have a long coat and two black spots on my tongue. My tail curls up toward my back. I adore children of all ages. I know how delicate they are, so I am patient and extra gentle. I love other dogs, big ones and small ones. My foster mom says I’m not an alpha dog, whatever that is. She must mean that I don’t challenge her pet dogs to be leader. I really, really like cats also, but perhaps too much. I want to play with them and I forget my size and scare them away. I’m not a constant barker. I’m crate and house trained. I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I don’t know how to jump. Spent too much time chained up to learn, but happily that means I don’t get on the furniture or the bed. I love to play with chew toys and chase balls. I walk well on a leash and although I’ve never done this, I bet I’d make a good jogging or cycling partner. My foster mom also says that since some of my relatives were obviously of german shepherd and spitz genes, I’m really smart and learn quickly and easily. I would love to learn tricks to keep us both entertained! I even tolerated my first bath very well.
Wanna meet and see if we were meant to be together? Just email my foster mom Kathy at halfwayhome@comcast.net
