Bengal Needs a Home! by Reagan

PLEASE CROSSPOST FOR THE THIS BEAUTY!  HER PUPS HAVE FOUND GOOD HOMES, AND NOW MOM NEEDS A HOME!  IF YOU CAN HELP, CONTACT:  Noah’s Arks Rescue AT noahsarksrescue@mac.com

BENGAL

Beng is the most gorgeous English Bulldog we rescued in January when she was pregnant and ready to pop.  She was a great Mom and we placed all of her puppies.  Now it’s time for this wonderful girl to go to her forever home.  She has been in foster care while she is undergoing  heartworm treatment and putting her weight back on.  As you can see, she is healthy as an ox.  She loves to play with other dogs but is too big to play with small dogs because of her size.  She is great around kids but is too large to be around small children.  She will make a wonderful member of the family.  If I didn’t have 7 dogs already she would be one of mine.  I can’t say enough good things about this sweet loving dog.  All she cares about is playing, putting her hand out for you to shake it giving you lots and lots of kisses and sleeping with you on the couch.

If you are interested in this wonderful dog, please fill out the Adoption Application below and fax to us at 843-987-0405.  Please, let us know to expect the application.

Phantom and Joey Need Homes! by Reagan

PLEASE CROSSPOST!  I HOPE IT’S NOT TOO LATE!!

CONTACT ellekane1223@gmail.com

I found two dogs on the side of the road in October and was able to find them both homes. Back in March however one of the dogs was returned to me. His name is Phantom and he is about a year and half old, 25 pounds, terrier mix and is deaf. He is a really sweet dog. I have emailed a bunch of groups, listed him on Petfinder and had him advertised at the dog day care I work at as a adoptable dog. But my boss is not letting us keep them our personal fosters at camp now and I have no where to take him. He is the sweetest dog and all of the girls I work with have fallen in love with him and take him home frequently. One of the girls had said she wanted to adopt him, but now she cannot keep him either. He does well with other dogs, children and cats.
I have attached a picture of him (and his brother Joey that also needs a home-his family doesn’t want to work with him on house breaking schedules or crate/separation anxiety). Phantom is the one of the right in the first picture with short hair.

I know all rescues are very full at this point but I have tried to do as much as I can for both of these dogs now since October. My house is full with my dogs and I don’t have room or money to take one 1 (or 2) more.

I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you soon!

Good news update for Marshmellow:

I just wanted to let all of you know that the yellow lab Marshmellow is safe and that she went to her new home today.  A BIG thanks to all of you for networking for her, especially Atlanta Lab Rescue who was working very hard to find a foster home for her so she wouldn’t end up at the pound.  THANK YOU!

If you missed out on adding Marshmellow to your family and you’re still interested in saving a dog in need check out Athens-Clarke County Animal Control (athenspets.net), Helping Paws Rescue at Pawtropolis (www.pawtropolis.com), True Love Canine Rescue (truelovecaninerescue.com), Athens Canine Rescue (athenscaninerescue.com), and last but not least Atlanta Lab Rescue (www.labrescueofatlanta.com).  I’m sure one of these groups could have the perfect dog for you!

Please send this to everyone you told about Marshmellow so they’ll know that she’s safe and in a new loving again.

Thanks again,

Sara Beth Pinson

Cody and Neko Needs Homes! by Reagan

PLEASE CROSSPOST FOR THESE BEAUTIFUL DECLAWED MAINE COON CATS.  THEY NEED RESCUE OR A NEW LOVING HOME ASAP SO THEY WON’T BE TAKEN TO ANIMAL CONTROL!!  IF YOU CAN HELP IN ANY WAY, CONTACT:

Stacy AT styndall11@hotmail.com

MESSAGE From STACY:
Cody and Neko are 7 yr old brothers, and have been together from the beginning. Both were fixed as kittens. They are both very loving and love attention. They were declawed in 2008. Neko is shy around strangers and can be skittish with loud noises. Once he gets to know someone he is very loving sometimes he will “love nip” if you rub him aggressively but doesn’t bite. Cody doesn’t care who you are as long as you give him lovin. He can be quite persistent about attention sometimes. Neither cat has an aggressive bone in his body!! Cody has to be on a food like Purina One Sensitive Systems ($18.99 for 16 lb bag) and preferably filtered water. He also cannot have any fish products.

I have bathed them both since they were babies and also clipped their fur, they may try and get away but are not aggressive. Both have been around small children ( I have 2 under the age of 3 with another on the way) and the only problem I have is that Cody is peeing out of jealousy. He is mad that I do not spend time with him. They do not get the attention they deserve!

My husband will no longer tolerate Cody and wants me to put him out in the fenced backyard or send them both to the pound, where I’m afraid they’ll be put down. I must find them a home quickly! HELP!

Thank You!

Stacy
