Subject: Decatur, GA- Sweet Cat with Severe Injury at DeKalb Animal
Services- Needs Immediate Rescue!
This cat came into the shelter with a severe injury to his leg. The vet
does not believe that the leg is broken. It sppears to be a very deep
gash. This cat cannot be held at the shelter in this condition. He is a
super sweet cat. Despite the pain he must be in, he loves to be held and
petted. Please contact me ASAP if your rescue group can take in this
sweet boy.

OH COME ON, FOLKS. SHE IS TINY. SHE DOESN’T TAKE UP MUCH ROOM. AND SHE IS SO SAD. SHE WILL FILL YOUR LIFE WITH SO MUCH LOVE. DON’T LET HER DIE. CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW SCARED SHE IS BEING SO TINY IN A BIG NOISY COLD SHELTER THAT SMELLS OF DEATH. PLEASE SAVE HER.
PLEASE CROSSPOST~PLEASE NETWORK~PLEASE FORWARD ON BEHALF OF THIS SAD LITTLE GIRL, SO LITTLE, SO ALONE, SITTING AND WAITING FOR DEATH AT FLOYD COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL. She is just so sad! And you can see that the little light of hope she had faded so quickly! She droops her little head and there is no comfort for her, no one to take her out and hold her, no one to tell it is alright, little one, it is alright.
Because it is not alright. She is sentenced to death and she will be killed on Wednesday, July 28th, at 8:00AM. Unless you save her! She is a darling little girl and somewhere out there is a home where she will be loved and treasured. But she can never get there without you. Instead she will die and the last arms that hold her will be the arms of the one who has to carry her to her death.
Please save this darling little girl! All contact information is below her pictures!

please cross post. this sweet beautiful husky may be partially blind. eating with feral cats. please help him. husky rescue where are you. —–Original Message—– Subject: Husky help I just discovered that a beautiful husky has been dumped down the road from me. I am in a rural area outside of Columbus, GA. He has been hanging out at a trailer down there for 2 weeks according to the neighbors that way. He is very very thin (probably 20 lbs underweight) and in need of medical care. He appears disoriented (could he be partially blind?) He is very nice and friendly though. He has been eating with a group of feral cats that a lady comes to feed and doesn’t bother the cats. There is no animal shelter or animal control in my county- nowhere for him to go. Can you help or do you know anyone who can? Thank you, Melissa |
PLEASE CROSSPOST TO RESCUES AND FRIENDS!! SUKI NEEDS HELP SO SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO STAY OUTSIDE AND POSSIBLY BE ATTACKED AGAIN!! IF YOU CAN HELP; CONTACT PAIGE!!

Message from Paige:
Suki was attacked by dogs (my cousins’ neighbor’s rotweiller grabbed her by her hind end and shook her), and the family couldn’t afford to take care of her so I took her in. She now has a bad leg from this episode, and while she loves the summer she needs to be inside for the winter because her bad leg hurts in the cold weather.
The problem is I have a cat, Casper, who has brain damage, and they do not get along for some reason. Suki just doesn’t like Casper at all. She is staying with my dad at his house but he refuses to have animals inside, period, even hurt ones. Rehoming Casper isn’t an option because he is totally bonded to me. When I moved out of my dad’s house he stopped eating until I came and brought him to my new house. I’m one of the very few people he trusts.
Suki is 4 years old, is fixed, loves everyone, kids and even dogs, despite the dog attack — though she does better in a home with fewer, rather than more, animals. She is a big girl with a lot of love to give, enjoys curling up to watch TV with people, and just needs a loving home where she can live indoors.
Please help me find her that home!
Thank you!

Can someone please step up for this sweet girl?? HW Neg/spayed/ all shots/ 7 – 8 yrs old. See Below
http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/16340801
I
am really trying to find someone who can take this sweet girl who is a
2 time loser. Her owner dumped her at the shelter and said he could
not care for her any more. He had adopted her from Fulton County which
is why she is a 2 time loser. She is 7 years old HW negative and
spayed. She is in with other dogs and seems to do very well with
them. Her name is Babs and she is very loving of people. She pulls on
her leash when you walk her and doesn’t seem to show her age at all,
except for her teeth, she really needs a dental cleaning and a bath. I
spent an hour with her yesterday brushing her and trying to get her
winter coat out and she didn’t fuss at all. The jerk who turned her in
said she was housebroken but also said he kept her in the garage so who
knows. She went to the bathroom right off when I took her out
yesterday so maybe. Her winter coat is a lighter brown but underneath
she is a deep chocolate.
