Tony and Cleo Need a Home!

PLEASE CROSS POST!

A client of the veterinary hospital where I work came in today with two cats, Tony and Cleo, who belonged to her mother. Her name is Phyllis, and her mother has advanced alzheimers and can no longer care for the cats. Phyllis has tried adopting the cats herself, but her dogs are not being kind to the cats, the cats are not happy and one of her dogs has become very destructive out of frustration.

I am hoping someone can help Phyllis find a suitable, forever home for these two special kitties …together, as they are littermates.

Tony and Cleo are 10-years-old and declawed.

If you can help, please contact Phyllis at phyllis.gilbert@att.net or (404) 493-4879.

Thanks very much and happy holidays.

These poor little kitties need out and we would like to have them get rescued together.

They have been at Dekalb for several months.

We can sponsor this pair of kitties for $ 100 each to help with their vetting.

These two Lynx Point Siamese cats have been at DeKalb Animal Services since 8/25/2009. We have sent out several pleas for them and so far no one has stepped up to take them. They are shy but friendly. They are very attached to each other and are happiest when they are together. They arrived at the shelter because their owner had been evicted and left them behind. Please let me know if your rescue group can take them in. Please forward on to anyone you know who may like to help. Thank you!

PLEASE CROSSPOST TO RESCUE GROUPS AND FRIENDS!  LET’S SEE IF WE CAN FIND GOOD HOMES FOR THESE TWO SWEET ABANDONED LADY CATS!  THEY ARE FULLY VETTED AND BEING BOARDED AT THE VILLAGE VETS OF DECATUR.  IF YOU CAN HELP, CONTACT:

CHAMBLEE ABERNETHY AT chamblee.abernethy@hotmail.com

Both of these young, female cats were abandoned by their owners and need new homes. Both are spayed, fully vaccinated and living in cages at the vet where I work…. awaiting adoption.

Anyone interested in adopting either cat may come to meet one or both at The Village Vets of Decatur anytime during business hours (Mon-Fri 7:30-6:00, Sat 8:00-2:00). …no appointment necessary. Each cat is FREE to a qualified applicant, but we prefer to adopt to indoor-only homes. www.thevillagevets.com

Please help find good, permanent homes for these two hard-luck cats by sharing this message with friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.

Thank you! Chamblee Abernethy

Cressida is 4 years old. She was found by a kind person who brought her to the vet but could not commit to her care. Cressida has a microchip, so the vet staff contacted Cressida’s owners, and they said they don’t want her back. That family has four children, so we assume Cressida does well in homes with children. We’re not sure how she would do with other cats or dogs.

Lola is 3 years old. She was integrated with some other cats at the vet, but they picked on her. The stress of not getting along with the other cats is causing Lola a lot of stress, evidenced by her licking and pulling out a patch of hair near her tail. Lola is healthy, just not in the right environment. She wants a home of her own where she will get the one-on-one attention she longs for. …she is a very affectionate and sensitive cat.

see you later after paying the Euthanasia Fee.   They were placed in a large cage in the

Puppy Room so they could remain together.  They had this long glaring stare as if to say

why/where am I ???????? They were given a bed and blanket so they could seclude themselves
