More pics of Charlotte are at http://www.catster.com/cats/1058967
Little Charlotte was discovered at a local apartment complex, seemingly the only of her litter to have survived. She is so cute, like a teeny mouse with those whiskers and that gray and white spotted face! Charlotte is still a bit shy but warms up to people very quickly. She wants nothing more than to be stroked and curl up purring in your arms.
Charlotte has been spayed. She’s had her rabies vax and FVRCP vax. She’s been dewormed and deflead as well. She has been tested and was found negative for FIV/FLV/heartworms

Hello all you cat lovers out there!
Cat Zip Alliance, Inc., which includes the Campus Cats and Kitty Crusaders program, is sending a desperate call out for donations! Our small but passionate group of volunteers have been successful in raising money in the past but just as soon as we have what we think is a solid financial grounding, that ground slips out from underneath us as the feral and stray cats, not to mention their kittens, seem to pop up out of thin air! The Kitty Crusaders program has decided to regroup and work actively with the Campus Cats program for the time being, focusing mainly on the UGA campus and surrounding area to humanely reduce the homeless cat population. But, even this area, requires us to have a constant influx of resources, which includes food, litter, volunteers, and, of course, funding for spays/neuters, vaccinations, and any other emergency vet care required.
I would also like to note that currently, we have a tortie female (Bellatrix) who has severe gingivitis and must have most of her teeth removed in order to prevent the infection from spreading. She will be just fine after her surgery but dental surgery on felines is not cheap. The cost is estimated at between $300-$500, possibly more. However, her only other option is to be euthanized and we will absolutely not do this to a cat who is perfectly healthy in all other respects! If anyone is interested in sponsoring Bellatrix and/or fostering or adopting her after her recovery, please contact me directly.
As of today, Cat Zip Alliance is reaching a desperate situation financially. We simply cannot continue with our work until we are able to raise more funds. We implore all of you to consider donating anything you can, even $5 donations add up! We have many different ways you can donate to our organization.

Currently, the Kitty Crusaders program of Cat Zip Alliance is at a stand still when it comes to any proactive efforts to help homeless cats in Athens! Our fund is currently “in the red” so we desperately need donations to pay our vet bills and replenish our account in order to continue our efforts to save the homeless cats here.
1. Give funds directly to the Athens Area Humane Society’s Spay/Neuter Clinic, making sure to explain they are to cover Kitty Crusaders’ bills.
2. Write a check or money order to “Kitty Crusaders” and send to

Mittens is an adorable cat with white paws and soft gray fur. She is a 4 year old rescue who loves attention and is happy sitting on a lap,”making biscuits” and purring. She also enjoys playing with her mouse toy and “talking” to everyone. Her playful personality can be a bit intense at times, so this cat would be happiest in a family without young children or other pets. Mittens is FIV/FLV negative; current on rabies vax; current on feline distemper; spayed, and declawed.
Mittens has had a rough life! Her original owners abandoned her outside to fend for herself with a rough crowd of tomcats. Even worse, they did this AFTER having her spayed and declawed! A Good Samaritan, not realizing she was declawed, fed her outside for years until falling ill with a brain tumor. She then called Cat Zip Alliance to find a permanent indoor home for Mittens. Unfortunately, things do get a little worse. Mittens was fostered by a wonderful couple for almost 5 months but she wasn’t an ideal fit due to her possessive personality. Mittens wants lots and lots of love and gets a little jealous when other pets or children take attention away from her
She wasn’t able to be adopted out at the local humane society, either, because she doesn’t like cages (who does?) and would get very upset about being put in one. Now, she’s back with Cat Zip Alliance, looking for a permanent 1-cat household to love and accept all her quirks!
